Day 2 Northland DFI - Connecting with each other

Wednesday 13th March DFI - Day 2
So, today we worked on gmail and our calendars sorting and filing to make life easier. This all went over my head a bit, so I'll have to go back on this during the coming week.
What I really got excited about was the Hang Out session just before lunch, and I feel confident enough to be able to have a Hang Out with my students this week.
THis week I have booked 2 hang out sessions tomorrow afternoon and also on Friday afternoon. This is awesome learning.💙

Learn/ Create/ Share

Today I have started the Digital Fluency Intensive PLD course at Paihia School. Its very exciting to know that over the next 9/10 weeks I will be lerning so many new skills I cannot wait.
What I learnt about Manaiakalani was that it was established around 2006 and has branched into a nation wide program involving many schools and students. Manaiakalani literally means the 'hook from heaven'.
There are many ne skills I have learnt today which are featured in the Blog poster on this front page.
My confidence in digital technology has leap ten fold since the begining of today.
I would like to thank our facilitaors Kerry, Dorothy and Venessa.

Students will use their Blog sites to record their Reflections at the end of the lesson, for those who always run out of time they can use the voice type tool to record their reflections.
